My name is Pauline, nicknamed Popo.
My life experiences and multi disciplinary learnings have taught my mission. I aim to enhance harmony and wellbeing within people’s mental, emotional and physical health. I trust that the greater each ones’s quality of life is the greater the entire "Whole” will be.
My journey started with my own body awareness. I practice several aspect of yoga for 10 years and have completed a 900+hours of yoga teacher training in 2017 in Byron Bay. Firstly introduced to the physical benefits of yoga, I quickly became sensitive to its impact on my capacity to stay grounded and clear minded as well as my overall ability to sense my own and other’s energies. From that moment I delve into the philosophy of yoga and its diverse spiritual liberations.
Soon after being teaching Yoga overseas and in Australia, I was seeking professional expansion beyond the practice and teachings of Yoga. At the time, I still suffered from migraines and chronic TMJ issues and could not grasp why I was so vulnerable despite believing myself fit and healthy.
I came across the work of Paul Chek and the C.H.E.K institute (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology). I was amazed to learn the relationship between functional anatomy while understanding the relationship between the musculoskeletal system, glands, organs, posture, breath, thoughts as well as our conscious and subconscious perceptions. It became clear that those elements, together encompass the Whole human body our ability to experience wellbeing. After 3 years of learning through the CHEK institute and my own individual learning journey I deeply understood the importance of looking at our state of health holistically. Personally being introduced to pain and “disease “ as a great Teacher demanding for our attention.
From there, I really ramped up my state of health and vitality along with my intuitive abilities. To continue I added a diploma of remedial massage to my curriculum (2024). In fact, I realised that manual therapy will complement my functional anatomy knowledge while also opening doors to deeper energy work beyond body work. Since, I have developed an interest for cranial sacral therapy and visceral manipulations. I am now seeking further studies within those healing avenues.
